When I post in the shoutbox, I normally just hit enter to post my comment. However sometimes that does not work. So I click on the Shout button. This causes the window AHC is in to minimize and disappear from my screen.

Does anyone on staff have any idea why that would be or why the enter key does not always work?

Not a big deal but I am curious.

I am also curious as to whether it would be possible to do a shout to a particular person and have them alerted Real time? For example I've been on the board and noticed a lady (who else would I want to talk to?) on-line that I'd like to chat with. So I shout and no response--until I'm logging off and they finally notice. Turns out they were reading something else and did not see the shout.

I just wondered if there was a way to send a little pop up to their screen that someone shouted for them or about them. They may still ignore me, but at least they would know that I tried to talk to them, hopefully before it's too late.

To what your computer is reacting that way I will have to check with tech support. I will look into and see if there is a way that you can notify someone that you want to talk with.

If you want to get someone's attention fast, I'd suggest sending a PM instead because then they'll get a pop up that they've got mail. There is a drawback though, in that there's a short lag time while the PM gets routed.
